If the child is afraid to be treated teeth.

To conduct a survey every six months and at an early age to prevent that child to get used to the dentist and not afraid of them.

Children's dental offices are decorated in colorful tones, they have a lot of toys, a child psychologist who will help your child overcome the fear of novelty.

It is best to lead the child to a doctor who is friendly to the recommendations of friends and calm in dealing with children. Because nothing beats the children hunt treated as evil doctors. And of course, do not overlook the fact that a doctor should be good.

... You should try to help the child overcome the negative experience of a hike to the dentist , if it has previously received or because of peer stories, as well as intimidating adults. And just one look at the drill enough to not want to get into the dental chair.

In this case, we can promise a child a reward for bravery, or a small gift. But the child does not get used, that it constantly bribe, we have to act very cautiously. Need to buy him a gift before you schedule a trip to the dentist, and only award show in front of the door to the doctor. Then the child will be ready to move steadfastly any consequences.

... Need to dentistry is not perceived as a villain castle, but as a place where the child will help. Tell him more about the work of dentists and that maybe if you start dental treatment.

... Do not need to demonstrate by the fear of dentists try first overcome his own. Try not to show their phobias, because courage is transmitted to children just as well as fears.

... In no case can threaten a child bully his rotten teeth pictures or horror stories about what will happen if you do not go to the dentist, so his reluctance would be even stronger.

If it's a boy, it is undesirable to laugh at his fear and blame the lack of masculinity, use of the phrase "what are you crying, you're a boy," "thou shalt not be afraid, you're a future for a man." But pity him, lisping also impossible.

Remember that before you a little personality. Get used to talk with your child as an adult with a reasonable creature.

  1. Sounds funny... but its true. Most of the poor kids hate their Dentist. If it isnt for the lollipops or the goodies they get I bet no kids will ever show up to their appt. ;)
